On National Employee Appreciation Day this year, proudly celebrate our employees and all they do to make Prysmian Group successful.

“Today, on Employee Appreciation Day, it is a great opportunity for me to thank all of our employees for the great job they have done,” said Andrea Pirondini, CEO of Prysmian Group North America. “In particular, I would like to thank our employees who have helped to make our factories a better place.”

Originally started in 1995 to give thanks and recognition to the U.S. workforce, National Employee Appreciation Day continues to be an opportunity to celebrate workers' contributions to an organization. On the first Friday of March every year, National Employee Appreciation Day thanks employees for their hard work on that day and throughout the year.

"As I travel around our facilities in North America, I'm always taken aback by the level of service, dedication and know-how demonstrated every day by our employees," said Paul Furtado, COO of Prysmian Group North America. "We are truly thankful for the workforce that we have here in North America and know that Prysmian Group would not be successful if it were not for our nearly 6000 dedicated employees."

To celebrate across North America, Prysmian's leadership put together celebratory meals, gifts, raffles and events to celebrate our employees' impact on the company during Employee Appreciation Day and year-round.

"Prysmian is all about people," said John Andrews, Vice President of Human Resources and Organization at Prysmian Group North America. "We thank our employees for everything they do, especially today, on Employee Appreciation Day."
