Hakan Ozmen, President and CEO of Prysmian Group North America Named One of Columbia Business Monthly’s 50 Most Influential People of 2017

Columbia Business Monthly recently unveiled its list of the 50 Most Influential People In the Midlands and included Hakan Ozmen, President and CEO of Prysmian Group North America as a top mover and shaker of 2017. The magazine highlighted several of Ozmen’s major contributions last year, including his role in securing a $300 million deal with Verizon in May and spearheading Prysmian’s combined $29 million expansion to its Lexington and Abbeville facilities. Since relocating to S.C. from Milan in 2011, Ozmen has been a vocal advocate for Prysmian’s sustainability, diversity and recruitment programs. Currently, he is “leading the charge to bring international talent to South Carolina” through Prysmian Group’s growing R&D Center in Lexington.
