The data that we can gather are manifold: conditions of use, malfunctioning, overheating. All in real time and with no specific expertise.
Thanks to a private cloud-based system built around our monitoring technologies, today we have a database that hosts more than five million measurements that had never been classified and stored before, until Prysmian did it. The private Cloud platform hosts all measured parameters that are analyzed based on the most advanced protocols. For Partial Discharge (PD) automatic diagnosis, PRY-CAM uses a proprietary artificial intelligence algorithm: PRY-CAM BRAIN™.
The analytics function also generates real-time alarms whenever a critical condition or a malfunctioning occurs.

Portable Monitoring Solutions
PRY-CAM PORTABLE is an integrated portable instrument for the automatic acquisition, processing and classification of pulse signals generated by PD phenomena occurring in insulating materials of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems and equipment, such as transformers, electrical machines, cables systems and switchgear. It provides an instant snapshot of the conditions of the object being monitored, that is easy and immediate to read thanks to a red-yellow-green traffic-light-like visual interface, based on a proprietary artificial intelligence algorithm.
Every single PD measurement can be saved alongside other useful details, such as pictures, recorded messages, GPS coordinates, notes and tags.
