Innovative Products and Solutions

Meet Leonardo da Vinci, the newest member of the Group’s state-of-the-art vessel fleet. Its engines and propulsion systems have been explicitly designed to save energy and reduce pollution. Additionally, the ship is designed to install a new generation of cables with synthetic armor that is 30% lighter and more environmentally friendly.

P-Laser power transmission and distribution cables provide the best performances with a reduced environmental impact, using fully-recyclable materials and a zero gas process to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 35%.

Our FlexRibbon fiber optic cable has the highest fiber density in the world as we pack more fiber into a smaller space, making installation quicker and cheaper.

Alesea is our new IoT solution that offers near real-time information on cable drum location, drum use and the amount of cable available, keeping cable waste and scrap minimal.

Our high-depth submarine cables have been redesigned with synthetic armor to be 30% lighter than the equivalent steel predecessors, enabling installation ships to reduce the number of voyages for each project.

We are committed to designing and manufacturing sustainable products to meet our sustainability targets and do our part to protect the environment for all.

  • We analyze the carbon footprint of our products and measure for environmental impact improvement.
  • We monitor the amount of waste we recycle to support a circular economy.
  • We reuse 28% of our drums to lower our impact on product packaging.

The Telecom and Energy industries play a crucial role in global goals to digitalize the economy while reducing carbon emissions. As a fiber optic technology provider, we are working to improve energy efficiency.

Reaching energy cost reduction, being equipped for future iterations of mobile networking, and having a wide portfolio of solutions differentiate us in the market.

To enhance circularity and cut the carbon footprint of fiber optics, we are introducing new production methods and eco-design solutions, such as the deployment of sustainable materials and a reduction in raw materials used in the production process. At the same time, we’re working on making supply chains more sustainable, which benefits customers, consumers, and the world from an ecological point of view.
